In 1901, Taiwan → Yong Ching Tea Factory was established.
In 1985, Taiwan → Lin Ching Tea Factory was established.
In 1997, Taiwan → Yih Ling Yih Enterprise Co., Ltd. was established.
In 1997, United States → 101 TEA, INC. was established.
In 2003, China → Lan Cang 101 Tea Plantation Co., Ltd. was established.
In 2012, China → 101 Tropical Crops Development Co., Ltd. was established.
In 1901, the first-generation tea farmer Li Yong's father planted the first tea garden in Lugu Township, Nantou County. The second-generation tea farmer, Li Yong, continued to produce excellent tea and wholesale it throughout Taiwan.
In 1985, the third generation, Tsai Lin Ching, continued the production of high-quality Taiwanese tea and established his own tea plantation and factory. In 1997, they created Yih Ling Yih Enterprise Co., Ltd in Taiwan and 101 TEA, INC. in the United States, expanding the Taiwanese tea business and initiating exports to the United States, Canada, and other North American countries.
In 2002, China began to notice "Pu'er Tea" but did not fully understand the cultivation of wild tea(the ancient tea tree). After Mr. Tsai visited Mangjing Village, Jingmai, Lancang County, Simao City. He felt that the ancient tea forest area was a treasure and decided to protect the ancient tea trees from falling into destruction. During the 6th China Tea Fair in April 2003, 101 Tea Company signed a contract with the Lancang County People’s Government to protect and develop the thousand-million-mu ancient tea garden of Jingmai Mangjing. To actively and effectively protect the vicissitudes of cultural heritage-ancient tree tea, 101 Tea Company carried out limited scientific picking of ancient tea trees and passed the International Organic Tea Certification of the United States, European Union, Japan, and China in 2004. This makes 101 Tea Company the only company in China to obtain four International Organic Tea Certifications, including organic certification for the origin of raw materials and organic certification for production and processing plants. Our facilities in the factory are the most advanced tea processing equipment, in line with Mr. Tsai's three generations of tea-making concepts and skills. 101 Tea Company produces products included the organic series of Pu'er Tea, Ancient Beauty Tea, and other organic health care products, which are mainly sold to the United States, Canada, Europe, Germany, Japan, Southeast Asia, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other well-known brand companies, China’s major airport duty-free shops, and was awarded the designated manufacturer of organic Pu'er tea souvenirs at the 10th China Sports Conference. 101 Company's concept of refined production and organic tea products will affect the Taiwan organic series of Pu'er tea, the organic health series of biotech drinks, and the organic health series of souvenir markets in the future, and will become the market pioneer in the future.
In 2012, 101 Tea Company identified the Yunnan coffee market, starting the establishment of coffee plantations and factories. With a history spanning generations and over a century, the current generation is the fourth.
